I wonder if the shopping mall campaign (dawn of the dead homage) has been finished.

Scratch and I got a few hands of Magic in.. despite dodgy connections, system freezes (360 shitboxes ;p ) and family wanting the TV!

Definitely worth doing again

Yeah the few half games and one full game we got in were fun. I really like the GUI for MTG on XBLA I just wish they would carry that over to the PC version which looks like something from the 1980 by comparison.

I'm up for more games, I'd like to give Kingdom for Kelfings a bash in multiplayer too, did you end up buying it?

Off topic, does anyone have an xbox memory card I could borrow? My transfer cable doesn't work 120-250gb because it's an older version and Microsoft want $20 for an updated version so I can copy my sh1t over from my old xbox, and I don't want to spent $60 on a memory card I'm only going to use once....ugh, can anyone help?

fraid I don't have one.

Are the magic deck unlocks linked to your profile or are they stored locally?

Oh and a bit of googling revealed that the mp magic is a bit buggy (as we witnessed)

The unlocks seem to be saved to the profile since I had not manually copied any saves over for MTG, so that's a good thing.

I had another go trying to beat that blue guy in the campaign, what a son of a cvnt. I hate Blue.

*sets deck manager to exclusively use blue for games vs scratch*

fvcker.

I finally beat that shitbag with a white deck, then tried some of the challenges, and goddam they get complicated around the 5th or 6th one. The situations are totally unrealistic but fun to figure out.

I think I used red to win most of my campaign matches. It's nice and fast if you get a good draw. I hate green because it can be quite slow, plus you can jam on wyrms if you don't get 400 land cards out :)

Blue is probably my favourite though, nothing like being an arsehole with the counters and if you can get a few flyers out, it's hard for the other guy to do much to stop you chipping away.

I've played an expansion challenge game, and got to try out a blue-artifact deck. Hope I can unlock the bugger in the campaign.

As I said the other night, if only the PC version of MTGO was based on the xbox version...or if you could port your cards from MTGO to the xbox version, or they just allowed cross platform play, it would be awesome!

Maybe one day.

I tried kingdom for keflings the other day.. and while it was cute and functional, I got bored quickly. Is there something I'm missing here? :)

Nope, you're not missing anything, it's essentially The Settlers without any sort of combat..it's supposed to be relaxing and casual, totally non threatening.

Also, I've be up for some games but my ISP fell in a heap with all the rain, no idea when I'll be back online.

Indeed I do, in fact, I figure in a couple of days downtime every few months to my cost/benefit analysis every time I consider moving to another provider but it seems that $70 a month for absolutely full speed (1500/512) unlimited downloads trumps every other option, every time.

it's good SP on the xbox, but the net code is flakey. I am half in mind to buy it on the PC, except I am waiting for scratch to waste him money first!
