That's ok.. I'm going back today with a peasant class ticket, but might be in a box again for tonight's session! :)

Saw Clisters demolish some poor tart, and Molik play like a chook but get through. Also watched Malisse and an aussie Mattie Klein battle it out (was a good match)...

The final match of the day was Roddick and Blake vs some poor bastards. Roddick served a fault at 227km per hour, and got one in at 220km/hour before the bloody radar broke! A lovely brutal game of tennis, including one good tube of the net player by Blake.

I kept hearing updates of that Klein v Malisse match. Sounded like a good struggle.

Oh I always love doing a good tubing of some poor net player who is asleep. Certainly wakes them up. But, doing it successfully to an awake net player is more satisfying.
And yes, I still do it occasionally. ;)

That would definitely have been a great match to watch. :)

Heading in today with the minister to watch a few matches. Not as good a lineup, although Roddick gets to beat up another Australian in the 3rd match. Huntukova (however you spell her name) is first up. Bleh, give me Clisters or Henin any day of the week over her!

Well, It sounded like it ended up being a good say there, with that Blake epic.
And you got to keep up to date on the cricket scores. :P

yeah, thanks for that. fvcking morons didn't have any monitors set up around the stadium that showed the cricket scores. I was surrounding by cricket zombies, ravenous for any score sustenance... and you provided the goods :)

The tennis was good.. I ended up spending 3 day sessions and 1 night session there. I'll go back next year for sure. Roddick wasn't playing so well (despite the bullsh1t news reports), but the Blake vs Gicquel match was pure awesome.

So no more Brissie Intl for you this year then?

What an amazing loss by Pakistan, or so it seems....
